Sculpture commission Anita Denholm

Congratulations to Blenheim Gallery sculptor Anita Denholm who is undertaking her biggest private sculpture commission so far in her artistic career. Blenheim Gallery yesterday was very fortunate to have a sneak preview of work in progress.

It will be an outstanding piece and command the position it has been scheduled for without any worry at all.

Presently wrapped in scaffolding and standing nearly 4m in height this 10 ton work will last for centuries and is carved in beautiful West Coast of Tasmania granite.

I think the unveiling will have to be something really special for Anita and the client in early 2025.
